Year 7 (2024) Instrumental Band Scholarship applications ARE NOW OPEN

One Scholarship is offered, covering the annual Band Tuition Fee of $440, for the weekly rehearsal in the ABHS Stage Band. The Scholarship will be valid for two (2) years and subject to an annual review.

PREREQUISITES

Grade 3 AMEB or equivalent.
Proven capacity or promise in Music is required and the ability to cope satisfactorily with academic aspects of all other schoolwork.
Music Scholarship recipients are expected to play at all performance opportunities and contribute to the musical life of the School.

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS

All applicants will be required to attend an audition/interview. Applicants will be required to play two short contrasting pieces and scales on their chosen instrument. There will also be some sight-reading, listening and a general discussion.

HOW TO APPLY

Complete a Scholarship Application form, which can be downloaded by clicking the following link :

Year 7 Instrumental Scholarship Application Pack or contact the school on 9477 3508 to receive the Application pack in the mail.

The application must be returned to the school together with the required non-refundable application fee of $10 (per application).

APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2022 YEAR 7 INSTRUMENTAL BAND SCHOLARSHIP CLOSE FRIDAY 28 APRIL, 2023 at 3pm.
