What is the Duke of Edinburgh's Award?
The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award is the world's leading youth achievement award.
Asquith Boys High School is proud to deliver this internationally recognised program to equip our boys to become confident, engaged and motivated citizens, ready for life and work.
The Award encourages young people to get involved in a range of different activities based across four areas: skill, physical activity, service and the adventurous journey. Participants who have completed the Award have demonstrated significant improvements in self-confidence, leadership skills and resilience.
The school makes the most of its ideal location by utilising the wonderful resources that are so close to the school for expeditions based in the Berowra and Ku-ring-gai National Parks. We also take expeditions to the Royal National Park and the Blue Mountains.
